The badger is a predator belonging to the family of mustelids (Mustelidae). The badger has a distinctive coat pattern: the cover hairs on its back are white at the base, followed by a black band and white at the tip. The badger is adapted to living in burrow corridors. It has a wedge-shaped body, with a rather small head and a long snout. It also has short, stout legs and a short tail.
